Akure - The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko
[AAUA] in Ondo State is determined to re-open the University on December
2, and has begun hiring new lecturers, according to Daily Post.
The
Vice-Chancellor Femi Mimiko who had earlier ordered students to resume
classes reach the decision to recruit new lecturers after the striking
members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ [ASUU] vowed not to
go back to work.

Mekusi vowed that they will resist any action by the Vice-Chancellor to
illegally recruit new workers
