Prophet T.B Joshua fails to honor court invite, case adjourned till Dec. 11th

We brought you a news earlier about the hearing on the suit against Synagogue Pastor, T.B Joshua and his engineers over the September 2014 church building collapse has been adjourned to December 11th by Justice Lawal Akapo of the Lagos State High Court. The resumed hearing of the case was meant to take place this morning but T.B. Joshua and his engineers, Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun failed to show up in court today.

Counsel to the Engineers, Oluwaseun Abimbola, told the court that they were absent because they were not served with court papers. Reacting to this position, the Lagos State's Attorney General, Adeniji Kazeem said no valid physical addresses were found for the contractors, which he said was reason that the Ministry of Justice could not locate or serve the court papers.

The presiding judge ordered that proper court notices be served to the engineers within 72 hours, and advised their counsel to inform them to take the court proceedings seriously as their trial is of a criminal case. 117 people, mostly Nigerians and South Africans, died in the Church building collapse.

HABA!!! Men arrested after they trailed former President Jonathan's convoy to his home in Bayelsa

Former President Goodluck Jonathan this morning escaped death by whiskers after the men pictured above, intercepted and drove into a short motorcade conveying the former President from the Julius Berger bridge area of the state capital Yenagoa.

According to a report on Leadership and other media platforms, the militants trailed and chased GEJ's convoy to the entrance of his Yenagoa private residence in the Kpansia area of the town, before they were overpowered and arrested by a combined team of security operatives attached to the former President. Members of the arrested gang have been taken to the Bayelsa State Police Command for further investigation and interrogation.

Where are we heading? Violence in APC headquarters Abuja over Kogi election

Violence erupted outside the APC headquarters in Abuja this afternoon over the inconclusive election in Kogi state. Some thugs numbering over a thousand attempted to attack the party's choice in the December 5th supplementary election, Yahaya Bello as he arrived the secretariat this afternoon to attend a meeting with top party leaders. Unbelievably Crazy!!! Shock As Goat Thrown Into Tiger’s Den As Lunch Survives As They Become Friends

An unlikely friendship between a goat and tiger has shocked zoo keepers in Siberia. The zoo keepers threw the goat into the tiger’s den but to their surprise, the animals became friends with the goat even taking over the tiger’s bed.

The tiger named Amur, is used to killing and eating goats, as he is fed one twice a week, staff told the Siberian Times.
But this one brave goat has somehow managed to survive four days without being troubled by the usually carnivorous predator.

“We think that the goat never came across tigers and no-one taught him to be scared of them,” said one of the tiger’s keepers.”He kicked the tiger out of his bedroom and is sleeping on Amur’s ‘bed’ for the fourth night.”
Keepers have now named the goat Timur “out of respect for his bravery”.
“He was just a nameless prey at the point when he entered the cage,” the keeper said.

Horror unleashed at an accident site yesterday in PH

A horrific accident happened yesterday in Port Harcourt involving an SUV and lorry around Eliozu and Airforce axis. According to eyewitnesses, an SUV was on top speed at a bend trying to negotiate the road with a lorry which did not give way to it. As they were dragging on the road, the SUV skid off the road and Somersaulted several times, leaving the occupants of the vehicle injured and one dead.

Singer Sinead O'Connor attempts suicide, says 'my family betrayed me' in suicide note

Popular 90s singer Sinead O'Connor reportedly took an overdose of pills earlier today after leaving a suicide note saying her family does not care, have betrayed her so much, and blamed them for her suicide attempt. TMZ reports below...

The note, posted Sunday morning, alleges "appalling cruelty" on the part of her husband, her children and even her son's girlfriend -- and she says it all started when she had a hysterectomy in August. Sinead claims they've been keeping her babies from her, and she just couldn't take it anymore.

The 48-year-old singer wrote, "I have taken an overdose. There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home. I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name. I've been howling crying for weeks. And been told by them all to go f*** myself. I'm invisible. I don't matter a shred to anyone."

Sinead has four children, ranging in age from 9 to 28. She's currently married to Barry Herridge -- the therapist she married in Las Vegas after meeting on the Internet.

She has since been found safe and sound in a hotel in Dublin and she's currently getting medical attention.

Prophet T.B. Joshua to be arraigned today over death of 116 persons in church building collapse

Pastor T.B Joshua along with some engineers will be arraigned today November 30th before a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja over the death of 116 people in the Synagogue Church of all Nations building collapse which occurred in September 2014.

Joshua and his engineers are expected to be arraigned before Justice Lawal Akapo according to a statement by the Deputy Director, Public Affairs of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Bola Akingbade.


The engineers, Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun, had last year filed a suit asking a court to stop the police from inviting, arresting or prosecuting them over the death of the 116 victims but a Coroner Inquest set up by the Lagos state government indicted the engineers and recommended them for investigation and prosecution for criminal negligence.
